Poster Presentation Post

This week I have been mostly getting on to some of the marketing for the movie, so far I've came up with 2 main poster ideas (only drafts at the moment) and a bunch of variations. All the posters are created at the standard UK quad ( 40" x 30" / 102cm x 76cm) or onesheet size (27" x 40" / 69cm x 102cm) for using in cinemas and retail. Large files, each about 100 meg or so, but necessary for good quality printing.

I just love Patrick's expression in the second poster, what has Scott done to scare him so much, well you'll have to wait for the film I guess.

All the photos used in the layouts are from our photo bloke Mark Wyness.

English wuz never my strong point, but should it not be "comedies" instead of "comedys"?

We've always attracted the brightest and the best here at Stirton Produktions.

Blogs are a really cheap form of quality control. Cheers Akto, it's been noted.

Pity nobody else noticed last week out of the whole production team, I mean it's not like I had 5000 of them printed already...

OH MY GOD! WHAT HAVE I DONE?

Chort!

My speeling is pretty crap at the best of times but I usually put everything through a good checker. I just chucked that tag line into photoshop at the last minute, bad me.

Could have been worse, at least my last film wasn't called 'The Plant'.

NICE! I really want to see this film. My vote is the top poster.

Both posters are hopefully going to be used. There are also a few others I'd like to do too. It's planned as an international advertising campaign so some of the posters will have to be a lot more descriptive.

This looks great! Can't wait. Just met another boy in the Blue Toon who wants to make films, he's into the Urban Legend genre.

I just draw stuff, the gender bias of the movie is all up to the writer/director. I ain't sayin' nothin.'

I've been told there are heaps of girls lining up to be in the movie, but as it's about 2 removal men their parts are a bit limited.

I like girls parts - oh, I'm off again.

Troma films are also littered with babes... not sure I'd wanna watch one though. Besides, Michael has a lovely arse.

We've got lots of girls in support roles. Really, they are on screen for nearly 20 seconds.

Just like Doomwatch - all the girls were bubble-headed until they got a smart-alec female scientist. That's 70s telly for you.

Funny most people say they like that poster best, I prefer the montage one with the van. There will be a lot of posters though so it should keep everyone happy.
