One Day Removals - Raindance Screening in London

The latest movie from Stirton Towers - 'One Day Removals,' is to receive a special screening at the Raindance Film Club next week.

The screening will be held on Wednesday 15th April, 7pm at the The Horse Hospital, The Colonnade, Bloomsbury, London WC1N 1HX. Click here for map. If you're in the area and fancy a chance to see it, come on down.

Entry is free and we are assured the beer is cheap. Many thanks to the Raindance team for arranging the event. Elliot Grove and Jesse Vile are now our godparents. We hope everyone enjoys the full-on Doric snuff-fest with the company of a few refreshments.

Just to repeat - FREE ENTRY / CHEAP BEER

Free tickets, cheap beer?! Send me air fair and I'm there!

I wish...

If we could Allen we would. Would you accept a lift across the Atlantic in my 1972 Mercury?

I have drums and my guitar in the back.

I have a photo of you on my "Guitar Hero" drumkit that seems relevant to post now ;-)

Hope showing went well.

That would work. But now it appears I've missed it.

Screening went well apparently, apart from some sound issue. Glad we didn't turn up or there would have been blood. Oh yes!

All in all, it's really nice of the folk at Raindance to screen the movie and support us in all the ways they have. Many many cheers to all you lovely people.

Any clues as to what happened with the sound?

I recall a problem at The Belmont with audio on the screening of "The Planet".

Oh it happens all the time Dim. The screening at Raindance was waay better than the screening at the Glasgow festival. Festivals have a tendency to just chuck a tape in and see what happens without doing proper test screenings. Some are better than others. The first time 'Reservoir Dogs' was screened they didn't even make it to the end of the film!

It'll be easier when we're doing this on 35mm. Maybe.

I'm disappointed to hear that, Mark. I'd have thought test screening would have been a proper part of the planning stage. I guess it comes down to time, and renting facilities.

Whatever happened to Tarantino after that showing?

Screenings at small events, even in hollywoodland have the same sort of problems.

Tarantino, hasn't he made a monty python film about a war or something?
